Robert Ross is a two time NY Music Award winner, a NY Blues Hall Of Fame inductee, as well as the 2019 South Florida Blues Challenge winner. The singer, songwriter, guitarist, slide guitarist, & harmonica player has backed up numerous legendary blues artists including Big Joe Turner, Lightnin’ Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Otis Rush & Brownie McGhee. He has 7 recordings out in his own name. Johnny Winter recorded one of his original songs. Legendary radio host Bob Fass of Radio Un-nameable said, “Robert Ross is a blues icon, one of the great blues spirits.” This is the 2nd time that Heidi “Heidi Ho” Rosenbaum has won the South Florida Blues Challenge including once as leader of The Funky Blues Band. Heidi “Heidi Ho” plays drums & sings background vocals.
