I got through two rounds of the quarterfinals in Memphis at the International Blues Challenge (IBC) and moved on to the semifinals. It was pretty cool. Met a lot of people who weren't wearing masks, and even though I usually was wearing a mask, I contracted CoVid19 whileI was there. I was in Memphis from May 5 to May 10. I was in Memphis for 5 nights competing in the International Blues Challenge (IBC) for the second time in 3 years. They had no IBC last year. There were acts from all over the world, and all over the USA, including Alaska, France, Korea, the Mississippi Delta and everywhere in between. Every act had already won a competition sponsored by a blues society in their own area which earned them a spot in the IBC in Memphis.
