Hey there friends!
I've been sick as a dog for about 2 weeks with a titanic cold. Yes, a cold. "Just" a cold, but this one is a pip, rhinovirus on steroids!! Coughing, stuffed up nose, stuffy head, achy, tired, sore throat. Mainly the coughing and stuffiness is bothering me the most. I had 2 CoVid home tests early on and they were both negative but I couldn't sing without coughing up a lung so a few gigs got cancelled as well as a couple of guitar lessons at Lantana Road Public Library. BTW, those lessons will be extended into October instead of ending with September. 
I rarely get colds. I used to get them several times a year up and then I started taking Vitamin C in the mid to late 1980's. After that I would only get colds when I stayed out all night in the freezing winter or the car's heater didn't work, or I jumped into the ocean in December. 
Anyway, I'm on the mend now and should be back in action Tuesday for a guitar lesson on Lantana Road. 
I will also be doing a private party on Monday at an assisted living facility I work at quite a lot. It looks like I will be there every Monday for awhile.Again, that's a private party.
And I will be at Hurricane Dockside Grill in Lake Worth (not Boynton) on Saturday.

I perform at two Hurricane Dockside Grill locations and this one is in Lake Worth. The menu is about the same in both locations and they both have a cool open air plaza with a roof overhead to provide protection from the weather, but if the weather is too hot or cold they have fans and heaters, Featuring: two time NY Music Award winner & IBC Semi-finalist Robert Ross on vocals, guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, and percussion from 7pm to 10pm. I will be taking on a limited number of dedicated guitar, bass, and harmonica students regardless of age or current level of expertise.

Robert is a two time New York Music Award winner and a New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee. Robert is known for a wide variety of blues, jazz, soul, country, rock ‘n’ roll, folk, and other roots music. Robert worked and recorded with Big Joe Turner and also worked with Lightnin’ Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Otis Rush, Big Mama Thornton, Brownie McGhee, Memphis Slim, and other legends. One of Robert’s songs was recorded by Johnny Winter, and two other songs appeared on the soap opera “All My Children”. The Robert Ross Band has released 7 internationally distributed CDs and toured two continents. Robert has been teaching guitar for more then 25 years privately, and 13 years in NYC public schools. Robert’s work in the schools has been cited by the NY State Council of the Arts (NYSCA) for “best practices in arts in education programming”.

Lessons are $40 per half hour, and $60 per hour.
