Hey People, I have 2 in person gigs in Hallandale at The Blues Burghers in November thanks to my friend, the fabulous Sista Marybeth. The first of those gigs is this Thursday, and the other is Nov 27, the Friday after Thanksgiving. Ain't that Black Friday? Well, in Hallandale it is known as BLUE Friday.
I also will have a virtual/remote gig on November 18th for a wonderful New Jersey organization called Music For All Seasons. I used to work for them a lot when I lived in New York up until 2017. That gig will be pre-recorded and I may be able to post some of the video online. More about that soon.
The election is basically over and normalcy will return to a stressed out pandemic riddled nation. We still have two vital Senate races taking place in Georgia. Those two runnoff races will decide whether the GOP and Mitch McConnell will remain in control of the Senate. McConnell is also known as Moscow Mitch because of his unwillingness to protect the election from Russian disinformation and election hacks. He's also known as The Grim Reaper because he is proud of the fact that legislation that passed the House Of Representatives with bi-partisan support goes to the Senate to die. I just call him Bitch McConMan. If Dems can win both Georgia runnoff election on January 5th, then they both parties will have 49 Senators and the Dems will take control because Vice President Kamala Harris would cast any tie breaking votes. GO OUT AND VOTE!! The 2020 elections ain't over yet. |

I will be taking on a limited number of dedicated guitar, bass, and harmonica students regardless of age or current level of expertise.
Robert is a two time New York Music Award winner and a New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee. Robert is known for a wide variety of blues, jazz, soul, country, rock ‘n’ roll, folk, and other roots music. Robert worked and recorded with Big Joe Turner and also worked with Lightnin’ Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Otis Rush, Big Mama Thornton, Brownie McGhee, Memphis Slim, and other legends. One of Robert’s songs was recorded by Johnny Winter, and two other songs appeared on the soap opera “All My Children”. The Robert Ross Band has released 7 internationally distributed CDs and toured two continents. Robert has been teaching guitar for more then 25 years privately, and 13 years in NYC public schools. Robert’s work in the schools has been cited by the NY State Council of the Arts (NYSCA) for “best practices in arts in education programming”.
Lessons are $40 per half hour, and $60 per hour.
