If you are using a different search engine it might pop up 2nd or 3rd. Very impressive. The logoin question is the image you see at the top of this page, or
on the home page of the Robert Ross Band website. My daughter Naomie is the graphic artist who designed the logo. Incidentally, she also did some work
on the new Robert Reich film "Inequality For All". If you haven't seen the film you should check it out. Anyway ...
The logo started out when my ex-wife BB took a photo of me at Folk City in 1980. That photo was put on the cover of my first record release entitiled,
"Introducing Robert Ross" on Baron Records in 1981. Later, the photo was turned into a silouette the old fashioned way, with paper, scissors, and glue.
My first crude logo was hatched. Then about 10 years ago Naomie got ahold of it and turned it into true art. She updated it a couple of times since then.
She has on occasion created a few variations on the theme. This one was used to promote one of our shows at the Riverhead Blues Festival several years ago:
LONG LOST VIDEO IS FOUND
The long lost video of "Wasilla Killa" has been found and reposted to YouTube. Using the tune of "Hard Hearted Hannah" as a melodic template, the new lyric is about Sarah Palin,
the former Governor of Alaska and John McCain's running mate in the 2008 presidential election won by Barack Obama. The original song goes back to 1924. Composers: Jack Yellen,
