What
The Experts Are Saying About The Robert Ross
Band
"A
blues icon. One of the great blues spirits." Bob
Fass (Radio Un-nameable, WBAI-FM Pacifica Network)
"He's so fast, lightning
would have to get on roller skates to catch him." Albert
King, reported
by Hank Reineke (East Coast Rocker)
"HOT!!"Jimmy
Page (Led Zeppelin guitarist)
reported by Pablo Guzman (NY Daily News).
"Okay, pay attention: Robert Ross is the real thing … some of the hottest blues you're likely to hear anywhere … vital and vibrant … a true showman ... inventiveness … original material is outstanding ... Imagination, speed, dexterity and flash ... fine sensitivity ... spectacular guitar work. Beautiful, ringing tones … almost torn from his axe in his own 'White Boy Lost In The Blues' … And you can hear it in the unique, rough edged tones of his fluid voice as well. The Robert Ross Band … catch them before some record company realizes just how much they've got to offer.” Jennifer Shields, Musicians' Exchange
"Robert Ross is one of the
most impressive young blues men around." David
Hinckley (NY Daily News)
"Ross could make 'God Bless America' stand on its head and
rock ... an imaginative writer with files of Twilight Zone
tales ... soulful, vigorous guitar ... agile cat quick
licks …the bluesman wailed, his voice rough and pliant and booming … most wonderful." Rafael
Alvarez (Guitar World, Baltimore Sun, HBO's The Wire)
"Nice stuff! You're doing the right
stuff. You're the new Bob Dylan. I really like that! It's
really great!" Tom
"Bones" Malone (David Letterman Show, Blues Brothers,
Saturday Night Live)
"Robert Ross is a fine singer,
a snappy lyricist, and an even better blues rock guitarist
... cut from the same cloth as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and
Johnny Winter … dazzling guitar … Time after time Ross delivers the
goods." Bill
Carlton (NY Daily News)

My daughter Naomie told me about this fantastic blues blog called Squeeze My Lemon BlogSpot and urged me to send some music or something for promotional purposes. So I contacted Ron Moody last Friday or Saturday. I just found out on Monday afternoon that he was kind enough to post my info on the site. Check out his piece on me and review the whole blog, it's packed with information on the blues:
